Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0

From the top of the page I linked for you:The DCLG’s Empty Homes Programme will run from April 2012 to March 2015. The Programme is £100m in total and will be divided into two funding streams.
- The “main” HCA Programme aimed at registered providers/housing associations, which will be available via the Homes & Communities Agency &
- The Community Grants Programme aimed at community led housing organisations, which is expected to account for between £10m -£30m, subject to demand.
The Community Grant Programme: Bidding started on 24th January and remain open until 17th April 2012.Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0 -

We've just got an Empty Homes grant of just under 11k for work on the house we've just bought in N. E Lincs. It seems not all councils offer them. Here they are available to future owner occupiers of empty houses in council tax bands A & B. If we sell the house within 10 years the grant will have to be paid back.
One of the Empty Homes team inspected the house and we were sent a schedule of works that they will pay for under the grant.
Did you contact the Empty Homes team at your council?0
