Not sure to either, TBH.Does that go even for BTL mortgages which the buyer is applying for?
Edit: Actually do we know if the buyer needs a mortgage?

Buyer has a BTL mortgage arranged (and presumably on the basis of vacant possession). Note this is an idea I haven't put to the buyer yet. I'm just trying to preserve the sale of my current property while looking for an alternative to buy myself.If you will the end, you must will the means.0
