Appliances could be built in behind the cupboardsChanging the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

the kitchen is just awful, I wonder if you would be able to knock the archway leading in to the dining room/second living room down and create a nice big kitchen diner?
I suspect the reason they haven't included photos of the bedrooms is because of terrible decor, just look at the bathroom!
Another thing I noticed is that the varnish on the staircase is very patchy and looks amateurishly done, I wonder what other diy botches there are in the house?0 -
only one thing for it .Go and view and report back to us:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:"Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0

Surely the appliances will be integrated and covered by cupboards?0 -

Completely agree- make it a kitchen diner, you will have a lovely large room. I really like the house - looking at the EA's other properties, all the pics are pretty rubbish. Must be their trademark!!0 -

Hi Old Git
It was awful, think the photographer used some special effects to make the rooms look big! Boiler in bedroom upstairs, other bedrooms full of cracks, dodgy diy jobs! Washing machine and fridge were integrated though so mystery solved anyway the search continues, thanks for all your help, much appreciated."Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0 -
At least you have seen it now so you can put it out of your head and continue looking.
Those of us who have been looking for months will know that photos can be very deceptive. I went to see one last week in a road that we like. 3 bed semi and the pics looked as if it had no one living in it and that it was dark and badly decorated etc. Because we really need to find somewhere I went anyway. What a surprise though. I fell in love with it. It wasn't old and dowdy. It had a young family, the furniture was old antique furniture and it just felt right. Unfortunately they haven't accepted our offer but we are looking to see if we can manage a bit more.
Because they didn't take our offer I went to see another one yesterday very close to where we are now. Was so excited because it looked absolutely perfect. But when I got there I hated it. So you never really can tell from the pics.
I hope you find your perfect house soon. I'd say though, if you like the look of one, go and see it as soon as possible so that if you love it you have a chance of getting it, and if it isn't right for you, you don't spend a week making grand plans for it.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. (he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D

when I bought last year the agent used 5 year old photos .
I think the house hadnt been cleaned in that 5 years ,hence the old photos .I could see through the lack of maintenance including no toilet seat and the curtain pole held up with a screwdriver.
but it was priced right for me."Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0
