private parking fine advice

Need some urgent advice please. I received a private parking ticket. This was whilst parked at one of my work sites. To give you a bit of background I parked on the corner of the exit of the private car park. I parked in front of some other vehicles. There was no marked spaces and no yellow lines. There was no public footpath and I was not obstructing the exit. The parking ticket was left on my screen, the ticket has not been marked to say why they have issued me the ticket. Is this a technicality? Also there were no signs to suggest I was not able to park there. As mentioned previously I work for the company where I parked but it's not an office I visit often. I would like to know how I should tackle this? Any advice would be great. I do have photos of my vehicle parked.

This is not any kind of fine!

Start by reading the Newbies sticky in the Parking Tickets Forum - which explains your situation and the various options for seeing them-off.

Then stick-up your challenge/appeal/complaint to landowner/employer (without identifying details) if you need further help.

they are a free website/forum. you can either look at other threads or make your own and people will give you advice on writing an appeal letter.

they advised me on what to write in my appeal letter and the company wrote back saying they would cancel the ticket.

Without prejudice, this is a challenge to the parking charge notice - notice to keeper (number).
(Parking ticket issuing company):

· Do not have the authority to issue contracts if they are alleging a breach.
· Do not have any interest in the land if they are alleging trespass.
There were inadequate signs on what appears to a public road. In particular the nearest sign was only discovered afterward attached to scaffolding.
The amount is not a genuine pre-estimate of a loss or damage to either their company or the landowner.
Please cancel the charge or provide me with a POPLA verification code.

Actually, posting this in the Parking Tickets Forum here would be far better. Pepipoo do deal with private tix but their speciality is legit/legal tickets, whilst we offer about the best advice for private tickets - If the OP is willing to do the basic legwork/reading first.
