Just feel like screaming!

My mum was diagonised with breast cancer May 2013 she had chemo, surgery and herceptin

Last couple of weeks she has been suffering with breathlessness and was told she has fluid on the lung nothing to worry about probably caused by her on going
lymphedema

She went to have a test done on the fluid and they believe it may actually be stray cancer cells (not a tumor) they are waiting for the results to come in before they decide best course of action but most likely course is chemo again

Just feel so angry she has been backwards and forwards to her doctors recently and every department seems to have drag their bloody heels in fact she is still waiting for her surgery review which was meant to happen the end of September. We were told that the herceptin would mean that the chances of this !!!!!!! poxy shi t t y crappy ar se hole disease coming back were slim to none

just feel like breaking something :mad:

sorry for the rant but just need to vent and can't do it to my mum obviously

Yes the NHS can be a bloody nightmare Sounds like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

Just feel like strangling the whole bloody lot of them at the moment (even though I know it wont accomplish anything at all)

Bloody hell I totally know what you mean. I really do not know what is going on in this country. My dads doctor has prescribed him the wrong medication twice! I hope your mum is alright x

I had breast cancer in 2009 & had chemo, radio, & herceptin. Now everyone's different & this may not be happening to your Mom, but my herceptin was stopped as it made me breathless. Hope everything goes well for your Mom Faith x
