Agree Tom, a good news story for all in the travel industry. Better service and cheaper fares, whats not to like. This is one very happy frequent traveler on Ryanair.0

Plus a 25% flash sale today on all seats in January.0

Booked three flights early this morning for January. Fantastic price. We were going to book them at the weekend, but didn't get round to it, then got an email yesterday to say there was a 25% sale.
What great timing:j0 -

All in the travel industry? Sorry, I don't think so. And I'm sure the low paid staff in various departments will agree with me.
Anyway, nothing in this world would make me fly Ryanair. I'd rather not fly. Too many near misses and other issues.0 -
Where do you do your shopping? What hotels do you stay in. Where do you eat? These are all low pay sectors. have you boycotted every company that doesnt pay at least Living Wage? Or is it just Ryanair?0

I'm not boycotting Ryanair because of the appalling wages they pay. I won't fly with them because I don't think they're safe to fly with. Just my opinion.0

What utter rubbish, Ryanair's safety record is as good as any other carrier and better than many including so called national airlines like Air France and AlItalia. But please carry on paying higher prices and kidding yourself you are buying safety, those of us who understand the airline industry will keep enjoying cheap and safe travel to lots of destinations we could only have dreamed about in the years before low cost airlines like Ryanair, and hopefully encouraging other on this site to save money (isn't that the whole point here) and do the same.0

All I'll say is I know more about the industry than you think0

I have a lot of reasons for not flying Ryanair but I would have no concerns about their safety. I'm not aware of a single fatal accident in their entire history.
As a budget airline their entire business is built on safety. If it was ever found that a crash was caused by cost cutting then their business would collapse overnight.0
