improve luck?

Is there any way to improve your luck? I think the only thing I could ever win would be if I was the only person who entered! I'm trying to interact on the board say thank you and even help people I know but I think I might be able to do more

Just enter loads & then forget.Pure luck & then pure numbers.

just keep entering whatever you hope to win,
I always think if you believe you're going to be lucky
you will be & I always thank the comping fairy even if having a
bit of a dry spell so she doesn't think I only thank her when I
do win

Thanks I am trying to improve my luck in general we just keep getting bad news and I could really do with good luck in everything as well as comping with xmas coming any more bsd luck and it may not come this year I hope some fairy will save the day lol

I wish I could offer you some help or wise advice but unfortunately sometimes we just have to get through these things and trust that eventually it will get better. One of our fellow compers has a signature that says 'everything has a happy ending so if you're not happy it's not ended yet' - I like that.


Last year I got out of work early on New years eve - I rushed home only to be greeted by the news that one of my oldest friends had died, I had no idea what to do with myself or how to find any hope in the world, it all seemed so unfair. This is when I started comping - it's only a small thing but keeps my mind occupied on difficult days and has given me surprises and experiences I wouldn't have had.

Nah my luck's been rubbish this year

Perseverance/patience is the only way! The more you enter, the more likely you are too win sooner!

weve not had the best of years ( well 18 months) in that time my OH's mum and both grans have passed away from cancer & my great gran, my dad is having extensive testing to find out whats wrong with him, my OH has had his own struggles which arnt for me to publicise, so weve had our share of bad luck recently

however, on here im lucky (ish) i generally get 2-3 small wins a week, before i started really getting into it recently i never won things..

when you enter you have to remember the competitions may not be ending for weeks or even months after you entered, so noones won them yet, and thousands of people go in for bigger competitions, so it really is pure chance, the more you enter the higher your chances are, dont enter things multiple times as you will be disqualifying yourself, enter and forget.

I've had 10 failed job interviews in 3 months, but seem to be doing pretty well with wins. It's a shame I can't transfer my luck, really!!!

Thanks everyone for replying im sorry to hear about everyones loved ones and hope that all our luck improves! Im thinking of you all and thank uou for repling it's nice to know your alone in your daily struggles. Although sad that we all have so much happening and bad news. I like that quote it fills me with hope that we will get there eventually. I will be sending all the luck I can offer to you all and hoping for a better end to this year and a great start to next year for everyone.
