Short break in NHS employment

Hi, I'm after some advice on a break in NHs employment and the effect it will have on my pension and other work benefits.
I have recently been offered another job in the same role as I am in now in a different trust, I am a nurse in Wales and moving to London. I haven't yet had a start date but my plan was to take 2 ish weeks off between the end of my current contract and the start of my new contract so I can move down. Does this have an affect on my continued employment withing the nhs? And subsequently affect things such as my pay banding, pension and sick pay rights?
I'm so confused with all of this!
Thank you

Would they be prepared to start you in the job but give you two weeks unpaid leave to make the move? Or even two weeks paid holiday?Free the dunston one next time too.0

I don't think I will have 2 weeks paid holiday available to take but it may be worth me asking them about 2 weeks unpaid holiday. Hopefully they will consider the circumstances. I only got offered the job on Friday so still in the process of waiting for crb references etc behind would I ask regarding this? Would I contact the HR department or my new boss?0

You need to approach your new boss in the first instance as your salary comes from his/her budget.0
