Transferring debt into someone else's name
hone
I have defaulted on 2 credit cards and a finance loan for a watch some time ago. All were actually caused by my ex-partner. He accepts responsibility for them and suggested they be transferred to his name. But I'm not sure that's possible? Any advice anyone can offer about this scenario please would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

Sorry, if it was in your name then it's your default.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

To transfer it into another person's name they need to apply for a new loan then if approved pay the proceeds off your loan.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.
