I've decided to join in as maybe you can all hold me accountable ha. Having realised how much of a food hoarder I am, I am determined to shrink the contents of my small chest freezer, freezer, larder cupboard and other cupboard. Dinners I can stick to, lunches might have to change a little depending on my DH shift, also if I don't make soup then I'd probably make pasta and eat it with chorizo or ham.

    Monday -
Chicken wrap for lunch. Child fed at nursery
Dinner - left over curry from sunday for DH. I will probably not have dinner, might have porridge. Stuck to this, DH is about to have his curry and I am not hungry.

Tuesday – Chicken wrap for lunch for DH. I will have a microwave bean thingie from marks and spencers that was left in work fridge by someone who is off sick( I have permission). Will take some homemade yoghurt to work.
    Dinner - Left over curry

Wednesday – Chicken wrap, microwave bean thingie for me.
Dinner - left over curry AGAIN

Thursday – lunch cheese toastie for DH as at home. tinned mushroom soup for me.
Dinner - leftover curry for DH, I am eating at a friends

Friday – Toastie for lunch for DH, soup for me
Dinner - pasta (tinned toms, cheese, herbs)

    Saturday – Lunch - toasties
Dinner - girl called jack recipe, potatoes, tomatoes and cheese (and bacon)

    Sunday – Lunch - pancakes
Dinner - tuna pasta bake, although DH hates tuna so he will get a pasta bake with no tuna....maybe chorizo from freezer.

    Money money money.

Change of plan for tonight (so I don't need to go to the shops!)

Dinner will be Butternut squash & red lentil curry with rice instead of the Butternut squash with Japanese meat sauce.

Change of plan for us. Today will be lentil spaghetti. Making double portion of sauce to freeze half

Weds - Granose chicken style roast (lurking in back of cupboard) with chips (freezer), sticky roasted carrots (need to use up) and gravy

Thursday - Squash soup (freezer) and rolls...I'm being taken to Raymond Blanc's new Brasserie for lunch, so light meal in the evening :D

    Friday - At a friends :)

Saturday - At a wedding :) (had forgotten!)

Sunday - HM Squash risotto (more from OHs parents garden!)

Monday - Red Lentil, Chickpea and chilli soup

Tuesday - Black Bean (some cooked in freezer) Stew with spinach (freezer)

Wednesday - Lentil bolognese (frozen from today) on rice

Thursday - Mixed bean chilli and wedges

    Friday - At a friend's for dinner

Saturday - Pub lunch, leftovers/sandwiches for dinner

Sunday - Lentil shepherds pie (bbc good food recipe). Filling in freezer.

That should get me to the 19th Oct only buying potatoes for the mash, and bread. Stocked up on soy/coconut milk when on offer and chooks might give us an egg or two soon! Either way we've decided on no more eggs until we get them from our own garden!

T - (theatre) LO turkey and gravy sandwiches
F - Turkey, mushrooms and broccoli with noodles in oyster sauce
