Opening/closing date & time:
Prize Draw opens for entries via PRTS, SMS and post as stated in promotion for “The X Factor” and “The Xtra Factor” programmes (together the “Programme”) on Friday 3 October 2014.
Prize Draw closes for entries via PRTS and SMS at 7.00 p.m. on Saturday 11 October 2014.
Postal entries must be received by 5.00 p.m. on Thursday 16 October 2014.


Winner selection date:
The draw will take place after 5.00 p.m. on Thursday 16 October 2014.
The first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the Prize, subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions.
The Prize is time sensitive and the winner will be contacted on or after the close date and will be called in accordance with Clause 5.3 of the ITV General Competition, Vote and Poll Terms.


How to enter & cost of entry:
To enter this Prize Draw, simply submit your name and information via:
PRTS Phone - call 09041 615 050 and follow the instructions given on the PRTS phone line; up to thirty seven (37) entries per phone number. Entrants who enter twice from the same phone number will receive an additional, third entry into the Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in the second call). Thereafter, with each subsequent entry from the same phone number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers. This can be repeated to reach the thirty seven (37) entries per phone number limit. Each call costs no more than £1.54 from BT landlines. Other networks may be higher and from mobiles considerably more.
SMS text – send an SMS text with or without the keyword WIN to 68300. The keyword is not required information so SMS entries without the keyword or where the keyword is misspelt will still be counted and charged; up to thirty seven (37) entries per phone number. SMS entrants will receive a SMS reply message acknowledging their SMS entry and inviting them to enter the Prize Draw via SMS a second time using the same mobile number. Entrants who send a second SMS text using the same mobile number to 68300 by the closing date and time will receive an additional, third entry into the Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in the second SMS text). Thereafter, with each subsequent entry from the same mobile number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers. This process may be repeated to reach the thirty seven (37) entries limit. Each of the SMS entrant’s chargeable SMS text entries costs £1.50 plus one standard network rate message. Post – send your entry on a postcard or on or within an envelope to TXF1103, PO Box 7558, DE1 0NQ. Entries received on anything other than a postcard or envelope will not be accepted. In the case of multiple entries received in an envelope or postcard, only one entry will be entered into the Prize Draw. Sufficient postage must be paid – any entries without sufficient postage will be discounted. The Promoter and producers bear no responsibility for any entry that is incorrectly submitted, lost or received after the closing date, or damaged in any way.
For the purposes of this Prize Draw, the 30 entries in Clause 7.3 of the General Terms shall be deleted and replaced with 40 entries.

Cancun, Mexico Holiday
This element of the Prize consists of a seven (7) night trip for the winner and three (3) companions to Cancun, Mexico. The Prize includes:
return economy flights from a London airport to Cancun Airport in Mexico for the winner and three (3) companions;
return private transfers from Cancun Airport to the Occidental Grand Xcaret Resort in Cancun, Mexico for the winner and three (3) companions;
a supplier liaison for flight and hotel bookings and winner management; and
hotel accommodation for seven (7) nights at the Occidental Grand Xcaret Resort for the winner and three (3) companions on an all-inclusive basis. The winner and three (3) companions will stay in a Junior suite based on two adults sharing a twin or double room, or a Junior Family suite based on either three (3) adults and one (1) child sharing, two (2) adults and two (2) children sharing or one (1) adult and three (3) children sharing (winner to choose accommodation, subject to availability). Please note that the winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes.
This element of the Prize must be booked and taken up between Wednesday 1 April 2015 and Tuesday 15 December 2015 (subject to availability) and must not be taken during public holidays in the UK or Mexico. Flights must be booked at least ninety (90) days prior to the intended travel date.

The seven (7) night all inclusive stay at the Occidental Grand Xcaret Resort includes unlimited meals, snacks and drinks (including all house wine, spirits and beer). This also incudes the use of five (5) swimming pools, a fitness centre, a padel court, two (2) tennis courts, shuffleboard, mini golf and archery. In addition, this includes use of the Kids Club with supervised activities.

Where any of the winner’s companion(s) are aged under 18 years old, the companion(s) must have prior parental or guardian permission to accompany the winner when taking up the Prize.

Each member of the travelling party must hold a current and valid passport and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel to and entry to Mexico. Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six (6) months on the date of departure from the UK when taking up the trip. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and/or their companions adhere to the visa entry requirements to Mexico. It is the responsibility of the winner to adhere to the local laws in Mexico.

It is the responsibility of the winner to (i) organise and pay costs associated with obtaining visas for the travelling party (ii) ensure that the travelling party is adequately insured including without limitation covering overseas medical costs, and (iii) ensure that the travelling party adheres to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by the Prize Provider.

It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the Prize Provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion when taking up the Prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

The Prize excludes ground transport between the London airport and the winner’s (and/or their companions’) home address, meals and drinks (other than those specified above), excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, travel insurance, personal expenses, and visas and vaccinations. Vaccinations are highly recommended when taking up the Prize.
