Wish me Luck on Monday
My swimming Jeep Commander had it's MOT today minor fails which have been rectified (number plates and a few bulbs, the chip on the screen was passed as an advisory which surprised me). Should hopefully have passed by now.
The VIC check is booked for Monday early afternoon.
The bit I need luck with is trying to get the car taxed. The VOSA chap said it is a nightmare, has to be done at the PO and some branches throw their hands up in horror and won't touch it. They also want to charge you the £25 replacement fee for the V5c which you have just paid for in the price of the VIC check, if they do charge then apparently the DVLA will refund it later.
Knowing my PO they will just say NO!
What a PITA!
(Oh by the way just bought a number plate from EBay, was the easiest solution)

Just to add I said to my chum this afternoon OK now that the MOT is in the bag do I just apply online for the VIC.
His response was "Aye if you want to wait 3 weeks for an appointment. Get your backside up to the test centre and book it in person". Which I did.0
