Dog saw vet in July about lump
Nothing done and no charge. Been back this wk
Again no charge but booked for op nxt week which I will claim for
Vet will obviously put 1st seen I July but no treatment
Will this effect my claim as I didn't inform them of lump in July?
Because if they won't pay I can't afford op

Was the dog insured at least 4 weeks before the july's visit?

If he was, there is no problem and will be covered.

    Who is your insurance with?

Some insurance T&Cs do state that claims need to be made within x days of the condition, I'd read your policy documents. I tend to notify mine in situations like this just to be on the safe side.
