Ravenheat boiler problem.

Have got a Ravenheat CSI85AAA combined boiler that is playing up slightly.
It basically won't turn on the pilot light first thing in a morning when I want hot water.
I have to switch the heating on and then I can hear the pilot light whoosh (sorry) come on and the heating start to come on.I then give it a few minutes and the hot water works OK.Again if the timer is on for the heating to come on in the morning it works OK.It just won't start up for hot water on its own.
Its due a service in the next month or two and I wondered if a service might solve it.
Thanks

There is a sensor in combination boilers that senses when the tap is turned on using the water pressure in the hot water system, it sounds like this is faulty.

Getting it repaired and serviced at the same time may save you a few bob though :)
