help with halifax mortgage

Hi everyone

We have been on a dmp since Jan this year.

Our fixed rate mortgage is due to end on 30 Nov 2014.

What do we do then? I was under the impression that if we did nothing, we would automatically go onto their SVR which is fine by us as we have no chance of remortgaging anywhere else and because it's actually a good deal and will really help.

The mortgage is in hubby's name only - as we are expecting a baby we were hoping to switch to interest only payments until January, will they do this? (we can't take a payment holiday as we are 84% LTV and they say we need to be 75% to do that).

It's not ideal taking this option but it is better than getting into more debt.

What should I do?
