Amazon A-to-Z Guarantee claim

I bought some DVD's from a marketplace seller and when they started to arrive the cases were damaged and the covers dented etc.
I contacted the seller first and received an automated response just send them back and we will refund then you can re order if you want the item.
I tried all i could to find a direct contact for them but could not as it was the way the items were being packaged that was causing the damage i wanted to ask if a different packing could be used.
After contacting Amazon and trying in vain to get a response and after receiving more of my order all damaged i raised an A to Z Guarantee case with Amazon.
I did this as i was getting no response and as i now had a considerable number of items to return i did not want to send free-post as the value was quite high now.
Amazon immediately refunded all the items.
It has now been 2 months since being refunded and the marketplace seller has not contacted me and i still have the items.
I have since bought all the items elsewhere so have no need for these but what do i do the marketplace seller is impossible to contact directly.

zoverstocks? In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0

It was an American seller not Zoverstocks0

If they aren't in the UK there's little they can do, just pop the DVDs in a box and leave them in cupboard. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0

Best advice at this stage would be to ask Amazon what you should do. I'd assume they'd say "do what you like with them", and then donate them, resell them or whatever. If the seller ever decides to get stroppy then you can show Amazon's advice.
The seller won't care though, they'll probably be paying pennies for them and will expect a certain number to be refunded. The admin would probably cost them more..0 -
It was over £70 worth of DVD's
Amazon just tell you contact seller but then you get the automated response and it's round in circles again.
You can see where i am coming from i am not sending over £70 worth of goods via Free-post hence why i want to talk with them directly.
But when you can't contact them. They don't contact you? what do you do???
I would assume they are thinking they are being sent back via Free-post but surely they would not wait this long?0 -
Why not send them free post? They aren't your DVDs, they're the seller's as soon as you've been refunded.0

I would not want to send free post as i have some very very bad experiences sending that way in the past.
Also no tracking via free post where's the proof they have been sent.
So many things to go wrong which is why i want to get in touch with seller.0 -

If you can't get them to reply it's hardly likely to get them to agree to pay for tracked post and pay this up front (would anyone trust a company that doesn't answer emails to pay after the return) so you can either send them free post or stick them in the cupboard.
Either way Amazon has refunded you and the seller has little to no recourse to recover anything so don't worry and you'll probably never hear from the seller againIn the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -
Just forget about it. You've done as much as could be reasonably expected.0
