Item not received?

Why would someone wait nearly six weeks to tell you a food item hasn't arrived and use the term, "the item still shows as not received." ?

Maybe they had forgotten about it and only remembered when they saw the transaction on a credit card bill or bank statement?0

Because they have just looked at the tracking and an error in the tracking is showing it as not delivered - so they are trying it on ?? perhaps.
I use Parcel2Go and for August I sent 22 parcels. One posted on 26th is still showing as 'out for delivery' yet the buyer left good feedback on 1st September so she clearly has it. It's just an error and I've found it happens once every other month on average
This is the reason I do not upload tracking. I have it as a safeguard in case there is a problem but otherwise I do not share.

Hopefully not a dropshipper having to resend replacements to their "downline". Oh dear mentioned the "d" word, all the dropshippers will rush in to her defence.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. I had a buyer email me on Friday one month after dispatch to ask whether I had posted the item as she had not received it.
I said I would check the tracking number and get back to her - it was not sent tracked but it seems odd to wait one month.
If she contacts me again will ask her to open a INR case and see what happens...0
