How are you finding ebay at the moment?

I sell popular items at competitive prices which people use all year round so it's not like I'm selling things that people don't want or need. When I say popular, I don't mean ebays market is saturated with these products. There are not many sellers, but there have always been tons and tons of buyers.

I used to get loads of views and watchers. For example on a popular makeup item (with more than 1 quantity) I would get approx 100+ views in 30 days and at least 4 watchers and I'd sell most of them. This stopped about 3 months ago.
Now I am getting 0-1 views a day. And 0 watchers! I put a few listings up about 30 days ago and so far, the one with the lowest amount of views, has 2 views and the one with the most amount of views, has 8 views!
Looking back a year ago, I used to get about 15-20 sales a week. Now I'm getting approx 2 sales a month!!!!!

Is anyone else experiencing the same?

I'm currently getting more views daily on ebid (just wish they'd sell on there) for the same items that are listed on ebay.

My sales are ok, I probably average 10 per day which is more or less the same plodding along the same as before, and I recently started selling on Amazon which is a challenge - but I am finding that for the amount of time I am putting in, once Ebay, Paypal and RM have taken their share there is not much left!

Feeling a bit despondent today!

As above, Ebay has dropped for me. Nothing new/changed on my part, although lately I've not really bothered adding new stuff. I have a few products that still sell well but nothing like what they did.
I'm using Amazon more and more and that seems to be a lot better at the moment.

I have good days and bad days. It's much less predictable than previously - I can have a quiet day then a busy evening, a busy day then several quiet.

Most categories are over saturated with supply (sellers) and yet more join the fray.

It's good to know others are still getting some sales even if they are down. I think ebay have switched me off.
My competitors seem to be doing OK still despite their items being more expensive. But they have a bigger quantity so that's prob why! I searched for 1 item. There are 3 results of which the first 2 are from Hong Kong and mine is 3rd ...of course

I'm a bit like you , all over the place. I had a brilliant weekend and early part of the week, sales were well over the normal. Then Thursday I barely sold a thing..it was almost as though I had been hidden.

Overall my sales are slightly up, but I have swapped out some stock that had stopped selling and tried some new lines. I still hope to find more outlets though, I don't want to rely just on eBay.

I have sales every day, even if it's only a couple, but no sales yesterday and none again today.

I am sure I have been switched off

Too many rules on sellers and most things can be bought cheaper elsewhere.

I had a gut full of eBay last week and am in the process of closing my account and moving on. To much in favour of the buyer, awful "customer services", and don't get me started on the cut that eBay take. Greed will be the downfall of eBay.
