cost of putting a slate roof on a conservatory and extending the lounge !

hello,

i live in a bungalow with a conservatory on the back. i want to build up the conservatory and put a slate roof on in line with the house ( so the ceiling is continuous in the lounge) and then extend the lounge.

Does any one have any idea of how much this will cost me,

are you even sure you can do this?
the extra wood supports and real slate will weigh a fair bit and im not sure the (pvc?) conservatory will take the extra weight.

as a very rough guide the cost will be 5k using real slates.
(without knowing the size).

i am sorry i didnt explain myself well, I intend to brick up the upvc windows and put just one in for the lounge so it looks like it has always been their and has never been a conservatory. therefore the bricks will hold the weight of the slate roof. The conservatory is 14 foot by 7 foot and stretches the length of the back of the bungalow accross the lounge and bedroom,

I want to extend the longe and bedroom as the bungalow is very very small. :rolleyes:
