Halifax Clarity reward contactless credit card

Very contradictory.
It's previously been mentioned that Halifax only issued contactless cards to customers in specific post codes.
It's also been mentioned that customers on the 'old' Halifax system don't see their Clarity card displayed correctly when they view their accounts. Mine looks like this, which isn't what my card looks like:
The old 5286 83 cards are now issued as contactless to everyone regardless of post code, received a new one a couple of months ago.

Because it's really handy if you shop frequently in Co-Op/McDonalds/Greggs.
Farmers find this really handy as well

Unlike the sheep we can choose not to carry RFID tags.0 -
My replacement card arrived today (having only ordered it at the weekend). It is a 5286 83 card and is indeed contactless!
After years of being told they'll never offer them to customers with these old cards, it is great to finally keep up with technology.0
