need advice with ebay problem

hi

i sold a sky box recently which cosmetically was in great condition.

the guy who received it is now claiming it has been damaged in post and is wantin g me to give him some of his money back.

any advice on what i should do about this
trying to lose 3 stone by end of 2014;)

    Find out what is wrong with it, ask him how much he wants, get photos of any damage (if required). Or just get him to send it back with original packing. You do have a note of the serial number I hope.

    Keep it friendly and decide if he is playing with a straight bat and being reasonable and decide how to react on that basis.

    i have seen a photo he has sent which shows a craxck in the casing, it left here absolutely fine . unfortunately i dont have the serial number, guess that was silly.

    out of interest how much would you think was a reasonable amount to refund him

    what's he threatening? How did you send it? was it recorded/insured etc?

    Ask him what he thinks is reasonable and then take it from there. If you don't play ball you will end up with it back.

    Decide how much its worth to you for an easy life. I would be thinking alon the lines of £10.
