I would encourage you to do so.
The money I have saved so far (see my signature) has gone to buying far more interesting things, such as the Laptop I'm typing this post on, a Bridge Camera and, in the last few days, an archery bow.sourcrates wrote: »a TV inspector has no right of entry to your home

You can go LLF, if you don't watch and/or record programmes as they are being broadcast.0 -

HELP!!!! I have received a court summons for non payment of TV licensing after receiving a visit from an officer from Capita, I know I haven't payed it, I am a student and I completely forgot I have my assignments on my mind day and night, is there any way I can speak to the courts and agree to pay without having to go to court? I know I will be able to pay it before the court date is due. I have also called TV and set up a new TV license with them, currently just waiting for a payment card to be sent in the post. Will non payment of TV show up on DBS check?0

Just pay the amount you owe to TV Licencing, and defend the summons on that basis.

Do you watch/record TV as it is being broadcast?
If not, then you do not require a TV Licence.
Did you let him in to examine your TV?
Did you sign the form?0
