I read today that getting through customs at Marrakesh takes two hours one way and two and a half the other so it's put me right off.

Absolute nonsense; don't believe it. I got through in 25 minutes entering and while there was a queue at immigration when leaving it was no longer than 30 minutes. This was four weeks ago this weekend.

Its an interesting place - go if you can!

Geebsie is correct, whoever told you that is talking rubbish. I was quick off the plane, and through to baggage claim within ten minutes!

Like most others on this board I cannot find the Marrakesh flights for £10 all in (so £20 return). Has anyone managed this, as Ryanair do state £10 including all taxes and charges?

I'm also trying to find a Marrakech flight but am coming up with huge taxes. Are there any flights that don't have the huge government tax?

Flight Luton to Marrakech on Mon 12th Nov is £110 taxes plus the 2p flights for 2 adults.
Return to Luton on Wed 21st Nov comes up as £33.88 plus 2p again.

    Total Cost of Flight
    excluding handling fee (if applicable)
    143.92 GBP
Which doesn't look as inviting as 1p flights!! :o

Why fly Ryanair? Flying to Marrakech with British Airways from Gatwick on 12 November and returning 21 November is exactly £80.00. Tested in their website 5 minutes ago.

Great if you live anywhere near Gatwick ... not all of us do!

    wensday

I see you are near Wigan and quoted a flight with Ryanair from Luton to Marrakech. I therefore thought you would be interested to hear about flights from other London airports to your desired destination at a lower price.

If not please just ignore my post (and dmg24's post).
  • Book 2 singles rather than a return and you'll be charge in Euros (inbound).
    E.g.

GBP10.00 outbound and Euro10.00 inbound... makes to about GBP17.00 return.
