Terms and conditions


The prize consists of a 4 night break in one of Retallack’s 2 bed hot tub lodges, including a meal for 4 in the MasterChef restaurant, The Green Room. The prize cannot be taken during the resort’s high and peak seasons where there is a 7 night stay as a minimum - therefore this would exclude the summer school holidays, Easter holidays, October half term, Christmas and New Year.


This prize covers 4 people, an additional under 5 could possibly also be accommodated if needed. Transport is not included within the prize package but transfers to/from local airport/train stations can be arranged.


The competition is not open to Woodland Trust or Kelly's of Cornwall staff.


Entries close at midnight on September 30 2014.


The Woodland Trust will retain your contribution and may choose to display it on a website. The Woodland Trust may also publish your contribution in other media. The Woodland Trust reserves the right to remove contributions that it considers to be contrary to the spirit of the terms and conditions of submission, including submissions it considers to be objectionable or that violate copyright. The Woodland Trust reserves the right to edit and alter submissions.


By submitting your contribution you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions.


By submitting any contribution to Wild Summer Photography competition (including any text, photographs, graphics, video or audio) you agree to grant the Woodland Trust a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable right and world-wide licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, display and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to your contribution and to incorporate your contribution in other works in any media now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in your contribution, and in accordance with privacy restrictions set out in the Woodland Trust’s privacy policy. We may select images for inclusion in the Woodland Trust calendar with proceeds going to the Woodland Trust.


By submitting any contribution you agree the Woodland Trust may use the material for any purpose and in any way it chooses, including, but not limited to developing, manufacturing and marketing products. Any contribution you provide shall be non-confidential.


By submitting your images you agree Kelly’s of Cornwall can use images supplied to the Wild Summer Photography Competition between 21 July and 30 November to promote the competition and showcase entries in media, public relations and on social media and in any subsequent public relations, promotion and media for the Wild Summer Photography competition.


Any contribution must be your own original work; it must not infringe the rights of third parties including copyright, trade mark, trade secrets, privacy, publicity, personal or proprietary rights.


If your contribution features other people who are recognisable you are responsible for ensuring you have their permission for the contribution to be treated according to the uses set out above. Contributions featuring children under 16 can only be accepted if you are the parent or guardian or have sought appropriate permission from the child’s parent or guardian. By accepting these terms and conditions you grant permission for the contribution to be treated according to the uses set out above. You agree to waive any moral rights in your contribution for the purpose of its submission to and publication as Wild Summer Photography Competition on the website and the other purposes specified above.


Publication of your contribution will be at the Woodland Trust’s sole discretion. The Woodland Trust reserves the right to edit, adapt, move or delete any contribution accepted. We will try and credit authors where possible but may not always do so.
Save as expressly provided for in these terms neither the Woodland Trust not its trading subsidiary (ies) shall be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damage or for any costs, claims or demands of any nature whatsoever arising directly or indirectly out of the use of your contribution or any part thereof.


From time to time the Woodland Trust may run competitions, free prize draws and promotions in connection with Wild Summer Photography Competition. In each case these will be subject to additional competition terms, which will be made available at the appropriate time.


These Terms and Conditions (as amended from time to time) constitute the entire agreement between you and the Woodland Trust concerning your contribution to Wild Summer Photography competition. The Woodland Trust reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on our website.


The Woodland Trust takes your privacy very seriously and we will only use your personal information in accordance with the terms of our Privacy Policy. By submitting a contribution to Wild Summer Photography Competition you acknowledge and agree that you have read and accept the terms of our Privacy Policy and these Terms and Conditions.
