getting pretty darn fed up with this wet weather as every saturday we load the car up only to find its raining on sunday morning.
we have a permanant pitch at sunday bootsale and last week was brill but the 3 weeks before we got rained off thankfully before we set off.
This morning we woke up at 7am to a fantastic display of thunder and lightening which obviously made us go back to bed.
look like its in for the day now
anyone else washed out ?

Washed out here in Suffolk as well. But since I have been up, it does look brighter. We were not off to a car boot today, but the Hollyoaks celebrity football match between the cast and SGR Colchester and Ipswich, we will still go, but it would have been more enjoyable in the dry. Car Boot next Sunday and if it dares rain !!!!"Dogs come when they are called. Cats take a message and get back to you" :j :j0

Not raining yet here in Dumfries, but looks ready to start bucketing down any second. I'm going to take a chance and go to the car boot sale (as a customer) anyway. When I had a stall at one a couple of weeks ago, a lot of stallholders gave it a miss due to heavy rain up to about 8am, but it stopped raining in time for the sale. and stayed off for about 3 hours.0

Couldn't sleep this morning so was awake from 4.45, got up at 5.45 and thought I'd better bring the washing in (forgot yesterday!) I could hear thunder coming from the Thurrock direction and within 15 minutes we had a huge downpour! Didn't last for long though, just waiting to see if it dries up completely or we get another lot.
Hope it's dry next Sunday - DD1 gets married!:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j
