Office Chair caster wheels

Hi anyone have a solution to the inbuilt obsolescence factor here?

Replacement casters would be no good as it's the plastic housing that falls out.
Otherwise are there any good make chairs out there - no arm rests required and maybe just a mesh back?
Cheers!

glue the housing back in with epoxy resin or Araldite. That should work to secure the housing into the chair frame.0

Thanks I'll give it a go. One of the housings fell out a while ago and is a somewhat smaller shape that the one that fell out the other day - very loose like it needs something to wedge it in. I'll try it and see though.

AFAIK, the gas lifts are universal fit. So the bottoms that house the gas lifts should be univeral too.
Just buy a new one. The glue might work - but for a good bond it has to be immaculately clean for the gluue to hold.0 -
Thanks
Tried the glue and some PTFE to thicken up the fit at Wickes suggestion. One has come loose already.
Where would I find the parts with housings? I can only seem to find the gas lifts?

just search office chair base found one on ebay.
You will need a good mallet to take the base off - I had to replace the gas lift on mine and it was stuck pretty tight from years of pressure on it.

Try wrapping fabric around the housing.0
