is that it?

hi hope you can help

my friend sold a mobile phone a couple of months ago and recieved good feedback saying he was very happy with his purchase.

then a few days later recieved an email from the buyer to say it had stopped working.

after a few email it was decided that he would send it back to my friend and he would send it to samsung for repair as it was still under warranty.

a couple of weeks later samsung returned the phone saying it had water damage beyond repair, this was not covered by thier warranty.

this was relayed to the buyer.

meanwhile the buyer put in a dispute with paypal.

during correspondence with the buyer he offered to go halves on the value of the phone, in my opinion admitting fault.

we forwarded all this informtion to paypal and today they find in favour of the buyer.paypal sent an email to say because there was limited funds in the account can he make a payment to them

 is that it? there must be something he can do.

He can ring paypal. That note from Samsung about the water damage has to count for something. Disputes can be reopened if there was a serious error on the decision, and paypal can be persuaded of that!
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j
