toothpaste for kids

My kids aged 8 & 6 go through toothpaste quite quickly it seems. And I noticed the big teeth one is getting a bit more expensive, what do others use for kids around this age ?
I've got sensitive teeth so use one for that and my oh uses whatever , he's not fussy.
Should I just move to an adults one now ?

Children should be using an adult toothpaste from the age of three as most children's toothpastes do not have enough fluoride in them to be effective.

They should spit not rinse to leave the toothpaste in contact with the teeth and only use a pea sized blob on a dry brush.

My boys just use ordinary Colegate cavity protection (£1 tube). They're in their late teens and have excellent teeth although obviously this isn't just down to the toothpaste. Must be time I got DD (6) off the big teeth one too and onto Colegate.
