Advice on what to do with my money

Ive worked hard and become debt free and i now have savings, not major amounts but none the less savings.
I dont know what to do or possibly who to talk to, My plan at the moment is to buy a car and save for a deposit for a house.
I cant apply for a mortgage at the moment as i still have defaults on my file till 2015.
i just dont know what sort of cash i need to be putting away and where the best places for it are, after becoming debt free i feel a little lost as to what i should do

Well done clearing your debts.
If you can get a TSB account then you can't beat their rate of 5% for amounts up to £2000/£4000 which sounds like it might be your situation.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
