How to install a.bin file

I have recently downloaded a .bin file but have no idea how to install it. I have searched but none the wiser. Running windows7 64 bit.
Thanks anyone.

The last time I saw a .bin file it was a disc image, so you'll either need to burn it back to CD/DVD or use an emulator to mount the image and run it that way.

Download a program called PowerISO - At work at the moment so cannot post a link, just google it and you'll find it.

It's free, once installed either double click the BIN file and it should open or right click it, go to poweriso and mount to virtual drive.

But before you do ANYTHING like that, take heed of ND's question in post #2.

    And Bod's post #7.

What are you trying to achieve? 'bin' extensions are traditionally used for binaries - but that alone means nothing as not all binary files are executable (it just means they're machine readable).

'bin' alone could mean nothing at all

aircrack-ng is also available on an operating system called Kali Linux (formerly called Backtrack) which has a collection of security and forensics tools. Kali can be booted from a USB stick.
