Meer, it was aa ananlogy to make a point.
That sometimes you have to go in hard to nip things in the bud.
and any way who would want kids, they are just a drain upon society and there is nothing worse than other peoples kids.
they should be giving people who do not have them a tax rebate, or taxing people with them more to accomodate for what they use out of the public purse!!
but you really should not take the metaphore so literally.
Sorry if that caused offence, that really was not my intention.
Your whole tone is offensive. Your reply to BillJones is appalling. I think you have a serious superiority complex.0 -
Troll, pure and simple - stop feeding it.

I really did want to make a legitimate point.
I was not expecting to be subjected to abuse from people that really should know better.
I really do not have a superiority complex and the response to bill was in the same tone that he used to me and he seems to be big enough to give it.
I have nothing against him, I just think that he should either make a constructive point or put his keyboard away.
Hi lovinituk, I hope they do start soon, will be able to get to work a lot easier in a morning.
Hi Monkey, I am definately not trolling, I wanted to make a stand on this against the company.

I understand that you're peed off Sean123, but you're coming across as a complete !!!!!.0

I really do not understand why that is, people make stupid responses to a legitimate point, which they have no interest in. I think a lot of my point may have been lost in the context of the response to Bill, however in my defence he has been a real tool.
I am actually one of the most placid people you will ever meet, however when i get my back up, which is really very rare, I really do not take prisoners, that includes this company.
All i expected from them was straight answers to direct questions, I would have happily drawn a line under it and left it at that.
Having people attempt to shout over me (I never raise my voice), and hng the phone up constntly once they have ranted the sentence they want to get out will only make me more resolute to go after them.
I considered Bill's comments offensive at the outset, however I did not feel the need to have twenty people jump to my defence. IfI did overstep themark with him, i apologise, however unlike a lot of people on these forums, it is nothing that I would not say to his face and I still stand by the point of defending my position with him.
I found the comment about, I hope you do not have kids offensive, that person has no idea as to why I do not have kids or whether I did and she died. They took an comparitive about going in hard to stop things escalating out of context.
I think my stance with this company is legitimate and will be proceeding with uploading the telephone calls to the internet. I believe that this is a reasonable course of action.
I would however like to remind people that this is a public forum, not a gang mentality and if you do not like an term or phrase used, you do have the option of not reading any further.

It's "you're", which is a contraction of ""you are".
If you want to boast about intelligence, and success, then please, have an adult check your English first.
And no, I'm not working as a "conduit" for anyone. I work in finance, but a very, very different end of the business form the sort that you've been caught out by.
Bill, I generally do not agree with your approach on a number of occasions but on this one I have to agree. :rotfl:
I do feel for the OP and wish him every success, but I the way the story has changed and been embellished every time they've been questioned on specifics. A successful company director with a BMW and a Ducati (I'm sure my spelling is correct on this one and I must admit I don't have one) should not be entertaining cold callers offering loans - and this is where your story has fallen down.
The main point is that the moment you give out your card details then you have lost. Unless you have read the fine print, or are sure of what you are doing then don't do it. A lot of people see a quick easy buck - always remember the golden rule - if it looks to good to be true, then it probably is.0 -
Sean - I would suggest drawing a line under this. You have your issues with loanspotter and you have raised that and also posted on this forum. That is to be commended.
The issues I have, and I am sure a lot of other people do is that your story does not seem to add up. They seem to be embellished more and more as the story and (spat?) with Bill has gone on.
I would suggest that you come back after you have resolved your issues - and if the response from Loanspotter is not as you would expect then refer this to the FCA? Please do let us know how this has gone as I'm sure there are plenty of people who would be interested in the outcome.
Lastly, I hope you have a speedy recovery0 -
I never said I was a director, I work for myself in a consultancy capacity for energy companuies, building infrastructure and lean projects, CRM Systems, Process mapping and complaint resolution etc.., it's a £35K a year Job, nothing fancy.
I have an FCA Complaint ongoing with them as the company do not respond, and to be honest had they caught me before I had the accident, I would not have entertained them. still you live and learn.
My story has not embellished one bit,I responded to Bills attempt at being a plank. In fact if you google me on the Gemserve wbsite, you can see my signiture all over a lot of thier paperwork.
Just out of interest..... how many people who have posted on here work for them??, come on hands up??0 -
On teh FCA website it says " they dont investigate individual complaints " ?
So how can you as an individual have lodged a complaint with FCA ?
FCA say you contact the company in question and wait 8 weeks for a response and then go to the FOS depending on the response you get.0
