i do not think I have been winding them up, this is something that should have been resolved at the first point of contact.

The fact that they keep hanging up is a reflection of them, rather then of my attitude. I have manage complaint departments for some rather big companies and the golden rule is never hang up!!

If i ask a company for some basic information such as Service level agreements, I expect that they will know this.

The fact that they have refunded without ther admin fee, suggests that they know that they have stepped over the mark in relation to taking monies, when I have implicitly told them on the call that I did not wish to proceed.

I have recorded every call that I have made to them (informing them at the point of making the call), this is with the exception of the two outbound calls that they made on the initial sales call.

These are currently being transcripted, which is not the easiest thing to do, considering how fast and loiud they attempt to shout you down. These will be available online on monday, together with the audio files.

I will post the website name on here on Monday Morning. Iam thinking of the name "loanspotteryourcustomerserviceisshocking.co.uk"?

but will do a little more work on this over the weekend, but gonna take it to the point of just still being legal!

Hi Bill,

I really do never vent.

I make a plan and stick to it.

I am one of those people that will decapitate a childs doll if they mis-behave to make a point and stop it happening again.

Also on the calls i will be posting, you will be able to tell how calm i actually am.

I never lose my temper and will only pick a battle that i know I can win.

If I am wrong, I will hold my hands up and walk away, but I never let a point drop and go in hard.

Also, as what i am going to do will be legal, I want them to know I did it and they could have stopped it, simply by being polite at the offset and holding thier hands up.

Strange, then, that you got to the point of even entertaining an un solicited loan offer. It suggests that your planning has not brought you to where you'd hope to be.

All of this would have been avoided had you said "no thank you" and put the phone down. You've allowed yourself to be scammed, and now have to work to fix it. This is not good planning, it's imbecilic.

Also for the record.

I had just come out of an operation on my Brain two days earlier, so was on the internet, not quite with it..

.. Not really sure why I made an enquiry, hewever I did state that I did not require them to proceed and I would just get an overdraft from bank. One of the pitfalls of changing banks and having a massive divorce settlement chewing and holding up your finances!

My life plan is well on track, i have my dream job, great partner, drive a BMW and ride a ducatti, admittedly not all that well, hence the brain operation.

They do not do any checks as i have accumilted a number of thier offers and they are the same companies as an introduction.

The reason why I had the time to spend the day calling them to make a point is that I do not answer to anyone at work, I am my own boss and will not be beaten down by a bunch of crooks.

I am one of thse people who will throw money at a problem even if it will cost me in the long run to win.

Sometimes it's nice to be a little unpredictable and challenge things.

PS the timeline that they provided for supplying th information that I requested has lapsed and it does not look like that is coming either?

They have stated in a response on this forum that the telephone number that they have is a freephone number, should that not be the case, I will be addressing that matter seperately with them. And I have screen shotted the page, so it would be a waste of time them removing it. (also I assume this website holds historical posts)

As a cutomer service functionality, they should be able to answer basic information and know what there internal SLA's are, if they do not know this, they really should not be doing the role.

However i think that they are more of a sales team, focussed on out bound sales...

As for not being able to follow simple instructions.... I write the instructions that they would be obliged to take mate!!

I also have a very legal plan to stop them trading or at least thier ability to call customers. look online on Monday right underneath their website!!

For legal purposes (terminology), i believe that they are a bunch of crooks and t least !!!!!! Turpin stood and faced the people that he was robbing!!, instead of hanging up the phone everytime the customer asked a question that they do not understand.

PS Serious Money Saving Fan, I have been looking at your posts, you only ever post on this compny???, yet not ever in a negative way??? what interest do you have?

Next time you get on the bike, check the name on the side, and note what they are actually called. If you want to invent possessions, at least get their name right.

It's amazing how many people on here, once called out over paying dodgy loan brokers, turn out to be powerfully built company directors with a fleet of expensive cars...

Put simply, I really don't believe you. I don't believe you at all. If you were well off, you would not have given the time of day to a cold-caller promising expensive loans.

You sound like a seriously disturbed person. I came to that conclusion before you posted the sentence in bold above.

Meer, it was aa ananlogy to make a point.

That sometimes you have to go in hard to nip things in the bud.

and any way who would want kids, they are just a drain upon society and there is nothing worse than other peoples kids.

they should be giving people who do not have them a tax rebate, or taxing people with them more to accomodate for what they use out of the public purse!!

but you really should not take the metaphore so literally.
