As the title says the 2012 nexus 7 32gb is now being cleared in argos for £99.99.


As I am a sucker for a bargain and already have a similar nexus and well pleased, try to convince me its worthwhile to get a second.

A new model is coming out shortly, hold fire as the 2013 model will soon be reduced

Yep - I was thinking wow that's great until I considered that I really have no use for an extra one. I skipped the 2013 model but depending on the price and size of this years release I might get one if they start going cheap. That said they may not - I expected Nexus 4s to be really cheap but I still had to pay well over £100 for a secondhand one a few months back.

I paid £200 new for a Nexus 4 last September (£90 off usual selling price).

I was too late for that offer - they sold out while I was thinking about it
The one I got is fine apart from a tiny scratch on the screen. Needless to say that tiny scratch wrankles.

Is the hardware and cpu power much better in 2013 model compared to 2012 model?


I think even if the 2013 model was in clearance would take a lot longer to get it for £100 though.

I bought one, for £99 its a steal!


A new one is coming out soon so I guess they are clearing out the 2012 model first and then the 2013 model.
