Architrave woes

My door openings are around 2040mm high. Architrave comes in lengths of 2100mm. If I were to cut a 45degree angle at the very top of one length, it's not long enough to fit my frames without lifting it off the floor. :undecided

Can I cut an angle less than 45degrees on the upright, and more than 45degrees on the top bit, will that work, or will the Torus pattern not match up? :undecided

You can get it in longer lengths, try a different supplier.

We had the same problem and don't have a car to help with our search so ordered from here http://www.skirtingboardsdirect.com/. They go up to 2.4 metres.

Please note: I have no connection with this company apart from purchasing architraves and skirting boards from them a couple of weeks ago!!!
