I wanna buy a Canon Powershot A570 IS

OK, this seems to be the best camera for the features I need and budget I have.
Firstly, does anyone know why this is so difficult to find in the UK, with none of the major suppliers stocking it or even listing it? It is listed as "new" with Canon but there other new cameras seem to be available and it has been reviewed in camera magazines which have a month or two lead time.
Best I could do is a price comparison search which only listed largely unknown retailers (at least to me) or retailers with bad feedback on these forums like Pixmania.
At the moment it seems the best I am looking at price wise is about £153 including postage. Pixmania have cut their quidco to 1% it seems and the feedback is too poor for me, I don't want a French manual!
Any help/advice on this appreciated
