Incorrect Tax Code

I've changed jobs about 6 weeks ago but didn' tget my P45 in time to give to my new employer. I have now done so. Will I get the tax refund in the following months pay? Or will it be the end of the financial year....
About to move house so it's a bit inconvienet to be paying 3x my normal tax amount!!
