Free credit report question

Hi

Im thinking about signing up for the free credit reports as spoke about on the site. Has anyone done it ?

What i want to know before i do it, Do they take payment at first then you cancel and you get the payment ?

I did the free one a few days ago after having been recommended to do it. They will ask for your details including credit card details, but as long as you phone and cancel it before the 30 days are up it's fine. Very easy and straightforward and you can view it straight away online (but it is only updated once, so if anything changes in the next month it won't show).

However you will need to do the other two for a more accurate idea as to your credit report as I have looked at all three of mine and they all have different things on them!

So it may be more cost effective to either order each by post which of course takes time or by checking all three with Check My File for £16.95.

have a look at annualcreditreport.co.uk I just got my credit report off them totally free (don't give any card details)
Think it costs about £3.00 if you want your credit SCORE though
