I actually bought this a couple of weeks back, and I can't believe it ever retailed for £49.99. I call the wood 'butterwood' because it gets marked easier than pine does, and indeed feels like laminated, tough styrofoam. It's quite delicate, so you have to be careful when using it. I say this being a small woman btw, not even as a great strapping lad.

..SURPRISE SURPRISE..NO STOCK!!! worked at argos years back and they did this all the time...advertise a a great offer and send out a few items ...this is totally wrong..they will do anything to get customers through the door!..:mad::mad::mad:

Been this price for about a month. Never worth £50 but nice enough for £15. Sturdy once constructed, but quite small.
