I have just sent off an esa50 form, as anyone recently filled one in? how long does it take for a reply? I'm in manchester area if that makes any difference.

Took apx 1 month until I heard from my GP that he wanted to see me to help fill in a report for Atos. So I didn't actually hear back from Atos direct. I think it'll depend how much "proof" you have sent in. But unfortunately it's just a sit & wait. Read thru a few threads & you will see that:eek:

all depends on the centre that's processing it.

i have few friends in Manchester some took 3 months some took 3 weeks it all depends if they can make a decision based on the information and evidence you supplied with the form and also if they feel you need to attend a medical easement and it also depends on how the backlog is if they have one and they usually do

I sent mine back in March, and I'm still waiting; it can be something which takes as long as it takes.

You could be waiting upto a year before you will hear anything.

They don't "reply" to an ESA50 they just "receive it".

You should phone ESA before the ESA50 due date and ask if they have recvd your ESA50 that you sent on 08/06/2014

If it does not arrive your claim could be closed.... very important form.
