Alaska competition
* The competition closes at 23:59 on Wednesday 2 July 2014. Entrants must be residents of the United Kingdom, and aged 21 or over to qualify. Proof of residency may be required to qualify valid entrants. Employees of Jamie Oliver (the promoter) and the individual prize partners (Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute and Holland America Cruise Line) are ineligible to enter this promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Eligible Participants.
* Entry is via the Jamie Oliver Magazine website. No purchase necessary. All data collected will be pooled for the competition prize draw. Incomplete entries will not be included. It is the entrants' responsibility to complete the entry form in full. The promoter (and prize partners) are not responsible for any technical issues (or other), which impede an entrants' entry being submitted correctly and/or in full. The promoter (and prize partners) are not responsible for any changes in e-mail, mailing address and/or telephone numbers provided at time of entering the prize. The promoter (and prize partners) are in no way liable for the reproduction or indirect access via third party web site or home page access which reproduction misstates or omits any of the information or terms and conditions connected with the promotion.
* The competition prize draw will take place mid July 2014, with the selected prize winner notified by end of July 2014. The winner will be chosen at random by an independent judge. The judge’s decision is final, and no further correspondence will be entered into. Once notified (via the email address supplied at point of entry), the winner will have 14 days to reply with acceptance of their prize. Should the selected winner not reply within 14 days of being notified, then it will be deemed that the prize winner has forfeited their prize, and a re-draw will take place. Same rules will apply for the re-drawn winner (should this scenario occur). If after 14 days there has been no acceptance notification received, then the prize will be cancelled.
* The single competition prize consists only of the below items of Holland America Cruise Line’s seven-day “Inside Passage Cruise” via Glacier Bay which is round-trip Vancouver: Stateroom accommodation for the winner and one guest (same stateroom); most shipboard meals (certain alternative dining options require payment of a fee); scheduled flights for the winner and one guest from London to Vancouver and Vancouver to London; one night pre-cruise hotel accommodation in Vancouver (room only basis); Vancouver transportation airport/hotel. Please note that the following items are not included in the prize: UK airport transfers; spending money; any shore excursions; hotel service charges (US$11.50 per person per day); personal onboard expenses such as drinks or spa treatments; applicable passport, visa and entry/exit fees; travel insurances. Or any other items that are excluded from the cruise fare as stipulated in the applicable Holland America Line brochure or the cruise as shown on the website https://www.hollandamerica.co.uk. All such additional expenses and costs are the responsibility of the winner.
* Both travellers must be over 21 years of age. Both must hold a valid in-date passport, and visa (if required) for travel to Alaska and, where necessary, must have necessary vaccinations and inoculations together with documentation proving this. Passports require a minimum 6 months validity from date of travel. They must arrange comprehensive medical insurance cover for themselves for the duration of the promotional travel as travel insurance is NOT included in the prize. It is the winners’ own responsibility to ensure that they have correct and valid documentation to travel.
* The winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary. Winner may select any 7-day Holland America Line Alaska Cruise departing from Vancouver in May or June 2015, subject to availability at time of confirmation and all prize travel must be taken in full by this date. Stateroom number and category will be assigned at the time of booking but will be minimum ocean view (according to availability at the time). The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-negotiable for cash, may not be resold, and cannot be used as partial payment toward a different Holland America cruise or stateroom category other than that assigned. No substitution of the Prize or any component thereof is permitted, except in the discretion of Promoter, which reserves the right to substitute the Prize for a prize of equal or greater value. The approximate retail value ("ARV") of the Prize is £5,000 (GBP). Actual value depends on market conditions at time of fulfilment. Any difference between ARV and actual value will not be awarded.
* This promoter (and prize partners) have the right to change or withdraw the competition and/or prize elements at any time, and without prior notice. The promoter (and prize partners) also reserve the right to provide substitute prizes (of similar value) should the specified prize become unavailable for reasons beyond their control.
* The promoter and prize partners do not take any responsibility for any liabilities, nor do they take any responsibility for any disappointment, injury or loss incurred by the prize winner from accepting the prize or participating in the promotion.
