I'm having repair work done on my house so I want to go elsewhere for a week with the dog, the above looks great and accepts dogs.
However, what I would like to know is, if you've been, do you think it's safe for woman on her own? Are there burglaries ect?
I've recently split up with partner and haven't gone away on my own before.

Good morning Marshmallow
If this is the country park near Bakewell / Matlock then I live about three miles from it.
You would be very unfortunate to suffer a burglary or any other event up there as it is in the middle of nowhere and has plenty of CCTV. It really is in the middle of a moor. Plus not many people know of it's whereabouts unless you specifically look for it.
A lovely setting that is high up and quite often misty until mid morning so be prepared to have to walk around very slowly, feeling your way in front of you.. The dog will give you an advantage.
If you want to go out of the site then you will need a car.
Go for it, it is lovely.0 -
