Hi there,
I managed to secure a place on the ERASMUS scheme at my universit, which means that i will be going to Sweden for my next year of uni (yay!)
It looks likely that i'll be going by Ryan air as i can go for £15 one way from London. the next cheapest is £130 from a normal airline.
However, i'm only allowed 15kg to check in (and putting in extra is horrendous, about £8 per kilo!). as you can probably guess, it is very difficult to park a year's worth into 15kg
therefore, i was wondering if anyone knows of good reliable shipping services that will send my things to sweden for me. I'm not worried about the time it takes to get there etc. There were a few fliers around my university but silly me didn't bother to pick any up as i didn't think about it then. I've done a few google searches and have come up with £85 for a tea carton (to get further, i had to log in)
Thanks
Danh

Wouldn't it be cheaper to get two seats? Then you'd have double the weight allowance? No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

I know, the baggage allowance is crap. However the boyfriend and parents are coming over to Germany two weeks after I get there to check I'm ok, so they're bringing my junk with them!...I like my coffee black, just like my metal!

No, you're not allowed to buy 2 seats. If you buy 2 seats, there has to be 2 people.0
