Mortgage offer in four days - thank you Dave Ham / Simply Investment :)

My boyfriend and I would like to say a massive thank you to all the guys and Holly at Simply Investment.

Having spent a year worrying about getting a mortgage and reading these boards every day on the train looking for hope, we met Ian on a Tuesday evening and had a mortgage offer by Saturday morning. Not to mention everything being keyed for us Tuesday evening to protect a lender incentive that was expiring that day.

Although we didn't speak to Dave directly during the actual application process, I have spoken to him before and he and his colleagues have been so professional, reassuring and helpful. A huge contrast from a different broker that we saw previously, who gave us very dodgy advice and made us really doubt our chances.

We really cannot recommend them enough and I am so happy to have an offer so quickly with great rates when I thought I may never get one at all!

Now we just need to wait for the vendors and solicitors...fingers crossed...

Probably a lot of similarly happy customers!

No doubt I'm just being over cautious and have never posted much anyway but as I have already recommended these guys to a lot of people in 'real life' and pointed them to this forum, I don't really want them to see previous posts on my financial history
