claims mgmt company trying to charge me for canceling ppi enquiry

Help Please,

I contactd a Ppi company to enquire , they sent me a form which i had signed , they hightlighted this form which read in small print no fee if you cancel within 14 days along with an Invoice of £ 255 to pay for their admin charges. This was in July in which I contacted them to tell them I had changed my mind . They sent two email to me in August request forms to be filled in and sent back to them , which again I contacted them and told them that I had rung in and cancelled my request. 9 months later I recieved a letter invoice asking me to make payment of £255 to them for ADMIN CHARGES when they did not proceed with my claim . How do i form a complaint and to whom - all help is much appreciated.

DId you cancel within 14 days?

Did they do any work for you?

I cancelled by phone back in july 13 9 months later they eant to charge me £255 for admin ?

So no forms were filled in and signed and sent back to them so what admin has been carried out ?

Write to them I would not ring or e mail just send a letter of complaint.

Do you have it in writing that you cancelled this within 14 days? Without such proof, I think you have a problem….
