Offerbank- is it a dodgy site?

I took a risk and ordered a dual-sim HTC one, as it was £300 (including Fedex 2-day shipping and customs fees), compared to £500 on the HTC website.
The phone is here, it was trackable all the way. It's an original phone, new, boxed. It seems the actual product may have been manufactured for the Russian market, but on setting up with American English and updating to KitKat 4.4.2 all of the UK settings and UK language are installed and it's working great.
I will definitely use them again, without hesitation.
Until:
It gets caught at customs and you get a nice additional bill.
The item develops a fault and you find that you have no comeback with either the seller or manufacturer.
Please don't bother posting on here when one of these scenarios transpire as you won't be getting a whole lot of sympathy.0 -
Signed up posted that and not been back. Gotta be SPAM...Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

I came across this thread a few weeks ago trying to find the answer for this question as well. I have now purchased and received my LG G3 and saved 20% from offerbank. They posted the item promptly and I had a tracking number which was updated every 3 to 4 hrs from Dubai to UK. I decided to buy from them because they have +15k likes on facebook which is something u can't easily make up. There is also another review site with over 600 feedbacks and I bought using credit card to give some protection. They have uk number which I called and was told I can return faulty item there instead of Dubai. I would recommend but there is always more risk if the item is faulty and u have to return it. Luckily my phone is uk spec and works fine.0

You signed up just to write this fawning shill?
15k facebook likes MUST be good, for example

You are totally right. No company could possibly pay a bunch of people in the third world to create bogus Facebook accounts and press the "like" button numerous times. Or find sites like this and post bogus positive reviews0 -

Well I just found one that will do 20,000 likes for £6.
That's an Offer(bank) nobody can refuse, capisce?0 -
With the shills posting, I would avoid using this site at all costs!!
Shills = scam sites!!0 -

Their poor reasoning skills don't necessarily make them a shill. They did also say that buying from OfferBank is more risky than a UK-based seller in case there's a fault. All that said, I'll probably pay the extra £50 and get my next phone from a UK-based seller on Amazon.0
