Can you give details of what they are offering?

You say you are investing in their company - Are you buying their shares? Which stock market are they listed on?

I had not heard of them before and I will avoid them like the plague. Why would they need to pay a "guaranteed" 8% to me for my money when they can get cheaper money from banks? Might that be because banks won't lend to them because their business plan isn't credible?

Also, their guarantee is worthless since they aren't even FCA registered, not to talk about being members in any regulated guarantee scheme.

Lastly, their answer to the question "Do I need a financial advisor?" speaks volumes:

We'll make sure that you speak to an Independent Financial Advisor when you need to.
