Inbetween houses - how best to invest/save the equity over 5-6 months

Hi,
Title says it all really. Moving into rented for 5-6 months and have 50k+ to put somewhere before it is needed for us to complete the purchase of our new house. So looking for something that doesnt tie the money up, isnt really risky but will provide some kind of worthwhile return.
Anyone point me in the direction of anything theyve used in similar circumstances?

You can read the savings article on the main site, and search the forum for similar threads. You shouldn't expect to make much money but your best options would be several current accounts.0

Investment would be an exceptionally risky option over that timescale. Cash savings accounts are the only sensible option to be sure you still have the money for the house.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
