The man described as the parking ticket expert, Barrie Segal says DO NOT Appeal to POPLA! Not so expert then.

His argument seems to based on comparing POPLA with PATAS (who deal with appeals against Council issued tickets etc). This obviously isn't a helpful comparison as they deal with fundamentally different issues (Civil liability vs Criminal liability).
I think this article is quite old though, and was written quite shortly after the POFA came into force, therefore before the role of POPLA was fully understood and it became clear that appeals to it were easily winnable.0 -

Whether you call it an "article" or something else it's still ancient i.e. written before PoPLA began operating. If you've got a problem with it still being there complain to him.Je suis Charlie.0
