HI,
Can you help?
I have a current a/c at Barclays with a debit card etc.., will I be able to add my Husband onto my a/c & will he also get a debit card? Or will he still have to apply to get one?
He has bad credit history.
Thanks in advance!

Depends what you mean by 'bad'. The easiest way would be to contact the bank direct and ask them.0

he will get credit checked and proberly wont be able to be added, worth a try though!0

Also if he does get added on the fact he has bad credit will then mean you have bad credit because you will then be financially linked.0

Would the financial link be created only if a joint account is opened, or is applying jointly enough to create the link?
If so, I would strongly suggest maintaining your own accounts until anything advserse disappears from your husband's credit file.
Been there, suffered as a result of that, couldn't even get credit to buy the t-shirt afterwards! The early bird catches the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.0
