I don't know about anyone else, but I've found the fact that you don't get Powerpoint with the 'Student & Teacher' version of Microsoft Office (the £90 one) extremely frustrating - especially when I then get powerpoint presentations e-mailed to me and I can't view them.
Well you can actually download a powerpoint viewer. It doesn't allow you to build presentations, but at least you can view them, for free.
Click on the following link, select the download speed, and hey presto.

we can try another way to view PPT file without PowerPoint. I have tried to convert ppt to flash, and opened the resulting flash for viewing. By this way we can also view the content of the ppt file.
We need some convertors to accomplish the conversion. There many such software out there. Here I list some of them for your reference:
Wondershare PPT2Flash Professional
FlashPoint Pro
Powerpoint to Flash
Now I’m using Wondershare PPT2Flash Professional. It’s a really nice software, and it also can convert PowerPoint 2007 to flash.
